Plead and Pay is a feature of Case.net that allows a defendant to plead guilty and pay his or her fine and costs in full online. A case must meet specific criteria for it to be eligible for the Plead and Pay process. The violation on the case must appear on the Fine Schedule, you may plead and pay before court. (please allow 5-10 days for the ticket to be processed)

• You may pay in-person with the Municipal Court Clerk at 
  • Carl Junction City Hall, 303 N Main, Carl Junction MO 64834 - Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm (with the exceptions of holidays)
  • No personal checks will be allowed as payment.
• If your violation is not listed on the Fine Schedule, you must appear on your court date.

Carl Junction Municipal Court is held the third Thursday of every month at 1:30pm (dates subject to change)

• Sign-in begins at 1:00pm, normally you will appear in front of the Judge in the order of the sign-in.

• If you missed your initial appearance date, normally the Judge may issue a summons for the next court date, please contact the Municipal Court Clerk  at 417-649-7237 to verify this action.
• If you missed your 2nd court date, normally the Judge may issue a warrant for arrest or summons,  you may contact the Municipal Court Clerk at 417-649-7237 to verify this action.

A Payment Plan is an agreement the Judge has approved that will allow you to pay your court fine and court cost off on a monthly payment plan.

• You must appear in-person, plead guilty to the charges, then the Judge will assess the Fine/Court Cost, Carl Junction Court Cost is $31.50.
• The Payment Plan consist of a minimum $50 payment per month, every month, between the 1st and Day of Court, the payment must be at least $50.
  • If you are unable to pay, you must appear before the Judge.
  • If you do not pay and do not appear, a summons will be issued for the next court date. 
  • If you pay less that $50, you must appear before the Judge to have this payment accepted, if you do not appear, a summons will be issued for the next court date.
• Only the Judge can accept a lesser payment, or no payment and continue/reinstate a Payment Plan.
